Over the last ten years, Marie has worked as a producer, project manager and event manager for a range of organisations, from the City of London Festival to Spitalfields Music or the Horniman Museum and Gardens. She specialises in site-specific work, using architecture and heritage sites as the starting point for performance projects. In ten years, she put 50 pianos in the streets of London, imported a thousand Italian bricks to create a London miniature favela, put thousands of Chinese lanterns on a rooftop in Brussels, organised disco nights in a museum lift, put a live mermaid in a public aquarium and shook the hand of the Queen of England, dressed as a sailor.
